Cheerleader Square Finished

Just finished another charity square for Q4OC. This one is a Cherished Teddy Cheerleader. I changed the outfit colors on the design to the school colors (orange & black) of the girl for whom the quilt is being made. This quilt will be a sports theme.

Charity Squares Finished

I finally finished the snow leopards charity square for Q4OC. This is an Endangered Young'uns (E.Y.) design by Ruth & Bill Moorehead and is published by Designs by Gloria & Pat. This square will be used to make a quilt of the various animals of the E.Y. collection.

I also stitched up 2 small squares for Q4OC. These are being donated to Friends 2 Seniors. The heart was stitched with the DMC Variations #4240 floss and the star was stitched with the DMC Variegated #115 floss.

The Mystery is Solved!

I've finished stitching the Mystery SAL in the wXSw yahoo group. I just love the design created by HelgaMandl and BarbaraAna. It was such fun to see the pattern come together with each new part offered in the SAL. This "Back on the Road Again" design was offered free to all the wXSw members and the designers are planning to make it available for purchase with all proceeds being donated to charity.
I stitched this on 14 ct dirty aida and used DMC threads. Just loved using the variations threads. Now I just have to decide how to finish it. Perhaps a pillow, but I'll have to ponder on it for awhile.
