Finally Framed!

I finished stitching "America, Land That We Love" by Jean Farish in September 2006. I finally managed to get it framed and hanging on my wall. Professional framing is way too expensive for me, so I bought a poster size frame at Wal-Mart and framed this myself. It's definitely not professional, but at least I can enjoy seeing all the stitching I did on it rather than keeping it buried in my drawer.

Good job! I need to do the same thing and pull my finishes out of the box and get them up, anywhere! I think you did a great job - I frame virtually all of mine myself, too. I'm glad you get to look at it every day now!!

Great job! I've done a lot of framing myself ... or take advantage of when Micheals and/or A.C Moore have a 50% sale on their framing.

So nice to see this finished. I remember this being talked about some time ago. Did anyone else ever finish?

Barb, I love this piece; yours looks fabulous!

I would be interested in purchasing the chart, if you still have it; it is nowhere to be found and I would love to stitch this piece.
