Two Quick Finishes

Here's my 2 recent finishes for CSFC. They are being donated to Friends 2 Seniors. Both were simple and quick to stitch. 1st one is the February Retro Cat and the 2nd is the May Lily of the Valley flower. Both patterns are designs by Velda and free at cyberstitchers.

Care Bear Finished

I just finished stitching this adorable Share Care Bear for CSFC. It was such fun to stitch on yellow aida and I loved all the colors in this design. This quilt will be so cute when completed.

Recent Finishes

These are my latest charity square finishes. The sea life theme (Windswept) is for Q4OC and is going to be donated to Love Quilts - Brazil. The angel (September Angel) is for a group making a surprise quilt for a group member who has been ill.

Birthday Card

Here's pics of the card I made for my grandgirl's 3rd birthday in February (pic on right is a close-up of the stitched part). It is the Disney princess, Belle. I forgot to take a pic of it before sending, so had to wait to get a pic from my daughter so I could post this. I placed the stitched part over a piece of foam to make it 3 dimensional on the card. Katie didn't quite understand the 3-D part and thought there was something inside it for her. :D

Hello Kitty Completed

This is my Hello Kitty ballerina I finished for Q4OC. The squares are being donated to Love Quilts Brazil. Hello Kitty is a popular theme in Brazil. I had fun stitching this square - well, except for the large section of white which did get somewhat boring. One thing I really like about the Hello Kitty patterns is that they are all whole stitches with no fractionals and no backstitching. So they stitch up rather quickly and are so easy to do.
